AAD was founded in 1938 with a mission to promote leadership in dermatology and excellence in patient care through education, research and advocacy. AAD is the largest, most influential and most representative dermatology group in the United States. It currently has more than 17,000 members and represents virtually all practicing dermatologists in the United States, as well as a growing number of international dermatologists.

The Insight Institute is a non-profit organization that promotes innovation, critical thinking and creative problem solving through art-based initiatives and programs.
